The chemical hose CHD is a "purple ring" chemical hose for chemicals, acids, (except concentrated oxidising acids), alkalis, salt solutions, alcohols, polar solvents, acetates, aldehydes, esters, ketones, phenol, hot water (cooling water) and non-oily hot air. This is a highly flexible hose for over 75% of all industrial chemicals with application limits in terms of media and concentration. The electrically conductive assembly over inner and outer layer is made without metallic connection. This hose meets the requirements of EN 12115 and TRbF 131/2.
Marking:
standard-compliant purple mark rings every 1.0 m (CHS 25 + 50 every 0.5 m) and continuous, standard-compliant embossed tape stamping.

- Temperature range: -40°C to +100°C (depending on the medium)
- Open steaming: up to 150° C / max. 30 min. permissible
- Inside: EPDM, black, smooth, seamless, conductive
- Strength member: textile mesh type CHS additionally with galvanised steel wire spiral
- Outside: EPDM, conductive, ozone and UV resistant
- Suitable for: chemicals, acids, (except concentrated oxidising acids), alkalis, salt solutions, alcohols, polar solvents, acetates, aldehydes, esters, ketones, phenol, hot water (cooling water) and non-oily hot air.
- Not suitable for: aliphatic, aromatic, halogenated hydrocarbons, fuels, mineral oils, chlorine, chlorides, ethers, tar oils
